Humacyte Expands International Rights to Symvess

Humacyte, Inc. has realigned the ex-U.S. distribution rights to its acellular tissue engineered vessel Symvess through an amendment with Fresenius Medical Care. This changes Humacyte’s strategy for international expansion, especially in Saudi Arabia and Israel, while maintaining existing U.S. distribution terms. The company aims to explore new corporate partnerships for additional rights concerning Symvess, which is still under investigational status for uses outside of FDA-approved indications.
