Juniper Biosciences has entered into a strategic licensing agreement with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to advance the development of JBS-003 (FMISO), a precision diagnostic that aims to reduce radiation doses for head and neck cancer patients. By identifying tumor hypoxia, the approach allows for personalized treatment that could de-escalate radiation from 70 Gray to 30 Gray, minimizing long-term side effects and improving quality of life. The collaboration is set to be featured at the MSK Innovation Summit, with a regulatory filing planned for late 2029.
