Precision Neuroscience and UChicago Medicine have formed a clinical partnership aimed at furthering brain-computer interface (BCI) research, focusing on AI-driven sensorimotor functions and neuroprosthetics. Precision’s Layer 7 microelectrode array captures neural activity with high spatial resolution, enabling continuous data collection for up to 30 days. The collaboration seeks to translate neural data into actionable clinical insights to aid those with movement and speech impairments due to conditions like ALS or brainstem stroke.
