Acurion has announced the expansion of its leadership and advisory team following the completion of a $4.3 million seed financing. The newly appointed experts bring extensive experience in regulatory, clinical, and commercialization fields as the company moves its AI-powered OncoGaze platform towards clinical deployment. Key new hires include Mike Hoerres as Advising Chief Commercial Officer, David Schlesinger as Vice President of Product Development, and others with backgrounds in biotechnology, medical technology, and diagnostics. Acurion’s platform aims to enhance access to precision oncology by utilizing conventional pathology images for biomarker detection, mitigating delays in cancer treatment related to biomarker testing.
