Mevion Introduces First Proton Therapy System for LINAC Vault
At ESTRO 2026, Mevion Medical Systems unveiled the MEVION S250-FIT, the first proton therapy system designed for installation in a standard LINAC radiation therapy vault. This system is both FDA-cleared and CE-marked, allowing cancer centers to incorporate proton therapy into existing LINAC-based treatment facilities.
