Glytec and Advocate Health Win Top Innovation Award for Pediatric Insulin Safety

Glytec and Advocate Health received the top award at the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Innovation Incubator for their research on software-guided insulin dosing for pediatric diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Their study, which includes data from 1,372 children, demonstrated zero mortality and low rates of hypoglycemia when using Glucommander, an FDA-cleared insulin management system. The collaboration aims to enhance the safety and effectiveness of glycemic management in pediatric care.
